The Stepnada is a classic wide angle glass from Ross.  It is perhaps the best known Ross commercial model among collectors.  It has a short, compact body, much smaller than the more common 7x35's.  It almost looks like a miniature Deltarem, though with not so wide a field of view.  The focus wheel is very large as is typically found in Ross Porro I binoculars.

I find the Stepnada to have a good wide field image.  It is somewhat soft towards the edge, which seems to be mostly due to field curvature.  There is minimal light leakage visible.  Unfortunately for eyeglass wearers, the eyepieces are recessed about 6-7mm.
