This is one of the higher quality wide angle vintage 7x35's from Japan.  It has a pleasing image, and spurious reflections and extraneous light are well controlled.  Note the unusual camera-style range markings on the focus wheel.  I have not been able to decipher the strange looking logo on the hinge cap.    There are different versions of this model reported.  Also, other S&S 7x35 models may include the 998, 997, 910.  I  have not examined them but have heard that some versions are inferior.
