| Kershaw Olympic 8x30Mfr: Kershaw, England Date: circa 1950's? AFOV: ~66 degrees TFOV: ~8.2 degrees Eye Relief: ~12mm Prisms: high index Serial Number: 32982 The Olympic from Kershaw is another of the many good quality wide angle 8x30 binoculars. It is heavy for its size and seems to use brass in its construction. The focus wheel is located on the objective end of the hinge, much like early Zeiss Oberkochen binoculars. The optics have early light blue coatings. The image quality is typical of wide angle 8x30's, with softness towards the edge from astigmatism.
