This wide angle binocular has excellent mechanical construction, reminiscent of the Bushnell Custom series.  Although it has no J- markings, there is a "KOC" logo on the hinge end.  Based on the same logo published in a Japanese Optical & Precision Instruments Guide Book, it stands for Katsuma Optical Company (see photos above).  This binocular has metal screw-up eyecups.  It is well baffled, though some prism leakage is visible.  The image is fairly good but the short eye relief  sets it back in comparison to binoculars such as the Bushnell Custom.
